How did that not come up?

This makes me laugh!  Probably because it is so true.  It happens to us all the time, and not just with relationship related stuff.

Recently this conversation happened:
JP: I talked to my brother.  He has a job interview.
Me: Oh, that's great! When is it?
JP: I don't know.
Me: Where is it?
JP: I don't know.
Me: How do you not know those things but know he has an interview? You didn't ask?
