The room I feel I have the most ideas for is the guest bedroom. I actually have an old wedding shower invitation that has served as my color inspiration.
Walls: The walls have already been painted. It was quite difficult for me to choose the gray paint because I was so scared it would look blue. However, it turned out just like the light gray on the shower invitation.
Chest: When I moved to Dallas, I took a small chest that was my Dad's when he was a child. It was brown but I painted it white. For this room, I want to paint it yellow.
Bedding: I am planning on making a tufted headboard using a dark gray fabric and yellow buttons. The quilt I like is from West Elm as are the sheets. However, I am always on the lookout at TJ Maxx or Home Goods for something similar... and cheaper.
Accessories: I want to add a touch of turquoise with accessories such as pillows, frames, etc. I will also have something on the wall but have no idea what yet.
