Good Food, Tons of Laughs

On July 3, our community group met for a cookout! We had SO much fun. Unfortunately JP had to work. I wish I had thought to take pictures. We enjoyed eating yummy food, playing a "music guessing game" and playing the paper game.

The music guessing game involved playlist.com. Each person went by themselves to the laptop that was pulled up to this website and added a few songs. After everyone had added songs, we played the playlist and tried to guess who added each song. It was a lot of fun.

The next game we played, the paper game, was hilarious! There were 13 of us so each person got 13 pieces of paper. On the top piece of paper each person wrote a phrase (any phrase, they could just make one up). Then everyone passed their stack to the person on their right. That person looked at the phrase on the top sheet and then went to the second sheet and drew there interpretation of the phrase. The stack was then passed to the next person who looked at the drawing and wrote down what they thought it was on the third sheet of paper (they did not look at the first sheet). So this kept going until you got your original stack back. It was hilarious to hear the original phrase and the ending phrase. Some of them had us laughing so hard we all had tears in our eyes! I definitely want to play that game again!

Here are the pies I made for our cookout. They are SO easy to make!
